New Year 📅 Who Dis⁉️ 🤔

That’s what you’re thinking isn’t it, Friend?

I mean, that’s kinda what we’re ALL thinking this time of year. Clean slate, wiped memory…my brain starts to shut down early December and it needs a hard reset after the ball drops.

So 🎵🎶 Allow me to reintroduce myself 🎶🎵

I mean, a girl can dream, can’t she?

 

Here is one of the few pictures of my daughter and I: together, we are (co)founders of Sharing Solace.

Our mission? To empower grievers to grieve and lovers to love their griever through technology-elevated, pass-along-able gifts…that are wrapped in a community of strength and support so you can always ‘Remember. You’re not alone.’

You see, after my Madelyn Elizabeth died in my arms just 8 hours after she was born in 2010 I wanted to die too…and I lived my life for 5 years waiting for it to happen. It took a long time to learn to live again – only after I realized my Maddie wouldn’t want her mama to live that type of life and the mission of Sharing Solace was placed on my heart – could I begin to live a life worth living.

Sharing Solace came from that pain, love, and hope. And now you’re thinking ‘cool story bro…but huh?’…

I get that…here are the big things we do:

  • Allow people to feel seen and heard in their grief
  • Build community around the ‘suck’ of grief so they know they’re not alone
